First page of new sketchbook - forcing myself to draw even though I have little to no inspiration at the moment.
A doodle of Avery and her foster brother Lucas, from Holmes. In the novella, Lucas is pretty much the reason Avery gets sent to juvie, but after a few years they reconcile.
Lucas is rather a quiet kid and enjoys reading/studying, while Avery, who's ADHD, can't stand being still for too much. Eventually their attempts to understand and catch up with each other don't end up well most of the time.

Proportions were mostly ignored in the process of this. Probably upon realizing all the flaws in this I'll scrap/delete it soon, but for now I'm rather happy with the coloring. I want a neon green lamp, I dig that color.
